Just a few Colorado spots left

2026 Colorado mountain retreat.

Four nights of movement, mountain air, and simple living at Beyul Retreat Center on the Frying Pan River, just outside Aspen.

The experience

Each day blends guided movement, mountain air, and simple living.

Mornings start with movement.

Some days it's an easy hike. Other mornings it's yoga that wakes up every muscle. You'll wander trails through aspen groves above the Frying Pan River, surrounded by crisp alpine air and good company.

There will be full-body strength sessions and destination hikes, with the option for guided trail runs to clear alpine lakes. We'll also go horseback riding through open meadows with wildflowers. And there will be time to slow down: paddle across the pond, dip in the creek, or simply rest and recharge.

Afternoons are quiet by design.

Stretch. Sit by the river. Read in the shade. Or do nothing at all. Evenings bring everyone back together for chef-prepared organic dinners and fireside conversation.

The setting

Beyul Retreat Center, on a quiet stretch of the Frying Pan.

Cabins and lodge rooms are cozy, rustic, and surrounded by forest and open space. When it's time to unwind, step into the dry sauna, soak in the hot tub, or take a cold plunge in the creek-fed tub.

Why we created the UltraLife retreat

Movement and nature, bringing people back to themselves.

Modern life pulls us in a hundred directions. We train, we work, we plan, but rarely do we slow down long enough to breathe, connect, and remember why it all matters.

Since moving to Colorado, our weekends have been filled with adventures in the mountains, hiking, running, exploring, and recharging in places that remind us how good it feels to be fully alive. We wanted to share that feeling with others, to create an experience where movement and nature bring people back to themselves.

This retreat was born from that desire. To move your body, eat amazing real food, and feel part of something bigger, without the noise or pressure of everyday life. We believe fitness isn't just about reps or miles. It's about feeling alive, strong, capable, and connected to nature and people who remind you what you're capable of.

What's the weather like in August?

Expect highs in the 70s °F and crisp mountain nights in the 40–50s °F. Layers like hoodies and long pants are recommended for evenings.

What should I pack?

Activewear, hiking shoes, swimwear for the sauna, hot tub, and cold plunge, and a warm layer for evenings. We'll provide a full packing list for all participants.

Can you accommodate dietary preferences?

Yes. We can accommodate any dietary preferences or restrictions. Just let us know in your application so our chef can plan accordingly.

How fit do I need to be?

You should be comfortable with a few hours a day of movement, with options to hike, run, or walk. Every activity offers beginner and moderate-intensity options. This is about participation, not performance.

Are meals and alcohol included?

All meals are included for all four days. Beer and wine are included during the welcome reception on the first night. Additional beer and wine may be purchased from the Beyul Bodega anytime after.

Can I come solo?

Absolutely. Many guests attend solo and are matched with a private room that fits their preference.

Is transportation included?

Transportation to and from Beyul is not included in the retreat price. We're happy to help facilitate rides from Denver International Airport (about a 4-hour drive) or Aspen Airport (about a 1-hour drive). If there's enough interest, we'll coordinate a group shuttle for an additional cost. You can also Uber from Aspen, and rental cars are available at both airports if you'd like to explore more of Colorado before or after the retreat, which we highly recommend and can help plan.
